Abstract
TANGO -Tibet and Antarctica Network Ground Observatories is a new way to advance astrophysical knowledge towards a better understanding of the Universe for less money. TANGO is a novel ground-based telescope concept with a performance that is robotic optical half to 1-m telescopes running under extreme weather and human conditions, with long uninterrupted continuous precision observations from the ground. TANGO is dedicated to Stellar physics and Cosmology studies. Specially, variable objects and gamma ray burst observations, space surveillance and tracking operations. Telescopes are located in the best seeing and inaccessible sites in the world. TANGO achieves constituted by several and identical robotic telescopes with a wide field of view and high photometric and spectroscopic accuracy, technically based on our instrumentation expertize, such as PAIX, the first Robotic Antarctica Polar Mission, located in the heart of Antarctic.
