Abstract
"Smart" microstages help system designers embed precision motion into hand-held and portable instruments. The closed-loop controller is embedded right in the stage. Control the stage via direct input of motion commands (I2C or SPI) from your system processor. No additional motion circuits are needed! A smart stage means that you get the smallest system size, and fastest system integration. In this video we demonstrate the M3-LS-3.4 Linear Smart Stage. It measures only 32x32x11 mm INCLUDING the controller, and offers 15 mm of travel with 0.5 micron resolution. Please visit our digital marketplace for a sneak preview of our new M3-LS-U2 Smart Stage designed for high-volume production, or contact us at (585) 924 4450.
