Abstract
The water vapor line broadening and shifting coefficients for the H217O lines in the 8,550-9,164 cm-1 spectral region induced by oxygen pressure are measured with a spectral resolution of 0.01 cm-1 at room temperature by a Fourier transform spectrometer. Measurements were carried out using Bruker IFS-125M Fourier spectrometer with a 60 cm multipath cell, with a path length of 1920 cm. In order to prepare the H217O vapor, liquid water enriched to 86% with H217O produced by Sigma-Aldrich Company was used. H216O and insignificant amount of H218O make up the remaining 14% of the sample. The volume of the cell is 2.765 L. The absorption spectra of the H217O isotopologue were recorded at pressure of 23 mBar and oxygen pressures of 0, 171, 422 and 655 mBar.
