Abstract
China's expressway is developing fast, but the uneven foundation deformation is seriously affecting the construction of expressway. This paper discusses the basic concepts of expressway basement post-treatment and pre-treatment, and then comes to the conclusion that the post-treatment way can significantly erase the post constructing settlement of subgrade, which provides a practical and useful reference for revealing the uneven deforming of thick fill foundation in soft clay area.
