Abstract
As a part of optical measuring system, the video image interpretation system will directly influence the processing ability and measuring accuracy with its data interpretation results. By analyzing the characteristics of different image preprocessing algorithms, according to the requirements of image pre-processing in digital video interpretation system, a method of reducing noise and improving image contrast based on Gaussian filtering and a sub-pixel positioning technology based on correlation filtering method are proposed in this paper to effectively enhance the image interpretation accuracy.
