Abstract

The protection of historical buildings is becoming more and more complicated, and the traditional methods of historical building protection cannot keep pace with the development of the times. At the technical level, it encounters layers of obstacles and lacks digital technical means and information management methods. Architects only rely on subjective experience to repair and design, and cannot accurately judge the pros and cons of historical building protection schemes. Faced with these problems, this paper analyzes the virtual reality technology, and describes the technology and its development and application in the field of architectural heritage protection. The 3D construction method of cultural relic buildings based on virtual interaction is studied, and the development and optimization of the 3D virtual interactive system for architectural heritage is proposed. With the continuous application of virtual reality technology in the field of architectural heritage protection, it will play a huge role in improving the research level of the entire field and developing the application of virtual reality technology.
