Abstract
Based on machine vision, the crane transports items from the pick-up area to the stacking area according to the general rules through an autonomous, orderly and precise control method throughout the process. Through the research and analysis of the existing gantry cranes for transporting and placing goods, a new type of gantry crane is developed by using synchronous belt drive instead of rope lifting, creatively building diamond-shaped tracks and improving work efficiency. The crane has the characteristics of fully automatic operation, precise operation and novel structure, which conforms to the development trend of automated terminals in the current era.
