Abstract
In this paper, we introduced our research and development progress on phase-only spatial light modulator (SLM), and our key liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) technologies to realize it. Based on these technologies, which have achieved high image quality with world-class contrast, we detailed how phase-only SLMs can benefit a wide range of application scenarios such as holographic displays, image projection devices, and other infrared applications.
