Abstract
To mitigate the effects of climate change, we need to reduce greenhouse gases and forests are one component of slowing climate change. I build four models to study forests growth. Model one deals with forest growth. We discussed the prediction model of single tree growth and compare the volume growth models of four kinds of trees find the logistic equation with the highest degree of fitting, give the prediction of average growth of single plant, and obtain the forest growth model through planting density. Model two studies tree carbon sequestration. chose the forest storage conversion factor method to calculate the carbon sequestration of trees. Model three discusses the optimal use of forests. To balance the value of harvested forest products and the value of allowing forests to continue to grow, I propose a relatively good forest management plan. Model four was used to predict carbon sequestration by forests and their products. fit the curve and equation of the residual volume of forest products with time, and find the carbon of a forest and its products within 100 years. The transition point and limit of carbon stock under this model are analyzed.
