Abstract
Contemporarily, Alzheimer's disease brings a heavy medical and economic burden to the society. At present, there is no effective treatment for Alzheimer's disease. This paper probes into the risk factors of it based on the cognitive data of respondents in the American ADNI database. Retrospective analysis of 309 respondents' data observed from October 2005 to April 2021. Chi square test and rank sum test were used to analyze the statistical significance of multiple risk factors. Logistic regression analysis was carried out to find out the risk factors of Alzheimer's disease. According to the analysis, chi square test and rank sum test showed that there were significant differences in sleep severity, APOE4 genes, and other variables. The results of univariate logistic regression indicated that ethnicity, APOE4 genes, and the volume of other indicators were the main risk factors. Multivariate logistic regression showed that hippocampal volume was the most risk one. This study will provide some basis and references for the determination of risk factors of Alzheimer's disease and the proposal of treatment and prevention measures in the future. These results shed light on guiding further exploration of treatment scheme.
