Abstract
The university laboratory is the place for teaching and experiment, where a variety of instruments and electrical equipment and some flammable and explosive chemicals are placed. Due to improper use or failure to operate according to strict procedures, it is easy to cause safety accidents. These accidents will cause the loss of school property, and even threaten the life safety of teachers and students. Therefore, the safety and protection of university laboratories has attracted the attention of university leading departments. Based on this, a laboratory security alarm system is designed. The system selects the GEC6818 platform, carries the Samsung Cortex-A53 series high-performance eight-core processor S5P6818, uses ubuntu, selects the flame sensor, DS18B20 temperature sensor and MQ-2 smoke sensor to monitor the environmental parameters in the laboratory, and uses the buzzer and indicator light as the alarm device. In case of a safety accident, The buzzer and indicator light work simultaneously. After debugging, the system has reached the expected goal, and the system can play a good reference role for security in other places.
