Abstract
Dust as one of the most common gas-solid two-phase flow, to prevent dust hazards, and to prevent properly, monitoring and monitoring measures must be done well, to prevent or completely eliminate the occurrence of dust hazards is not impossible, good dust monitoring and control is of great significance for many production safety and energy saving. First of all, it is necessary to master the basic characteristic parameters of gas-solid two-phase flow and other flow laws, strictly detect and control dust concentration and other parameters, and set up concentration monitoring and alarm devices. Ultrasonic has environmental friendly, strong penetration and other advantages, ultrasonic has been widely used in security, non-destructive detection, measurement and other aspects. The purpose of this paper is to study the application of ultrasonic related technologies in dust concentration detection. First, an experimental platform is built, focusing on the study of signal excitation and signal processing technologies. Then, based on this, the influence of different particle sizes of dust concentrations on the attenuation of ultrasonic propagation is explored, and the feasibility and reliability of developing self-made ultrasonic equipment for the detection of dust concentration is verified. Finally, the detection results can be displayed or reported in real time, stored or shared. This method shows the superiority of ultrasonic detection for dust concentration.
