Abstract
Under the background of digital revolution, agricultural autonomous vehicles have made significant progress. Agricultural vehicles have experienced the stage upgrade process from mechanization to automation and then to intelligence. In this process, the development of high-precision positioning technology, automatic driving technology and automatic operation technology provides a solution for the realization of intelligent agricultural vehicle. The application of unmanned agricultural vehicles provides a way to solve the problems such as low labor efficiency, low yield of crops, extensive use of pesticides, and low utilization efficiency of water and soil resources. With the development of science and technology, the agricultural field is moving towards Agriculture 4.0, and unmanned agricultural machinery, as an important component of Agriculture 4.0, plays an irreplaceable role in the production and development of agriculture. The use of unmanned agricultural machinery products to carry out agricultural activities will be the mainstream method adopted by farms. Currently, unmanned agricultural machinery is gradually popularizing, and the economic benefits brought by supply-demand relationship are also driving the continuous development of the agricultural machinery industry, improving its technological level. However, it is undeniable that there are still some technological difficulties that need to be overcome. This paper reviews the latest technological progress in the field of unmanned agricultural vehicles, lists the applications of unmanned agricultural vehicles in agricultural scenarios, analyzes the current status of the field, and prospects for the technological trends and future development of this field.
