Abstract
The manufacturing industry is complicated, with the coexistence of old and new devices, many devices, and various communication interfaces and protocols, making connectivity difficult. Therefore, based on the idea of software definition, the hardware and software of equipment are decoupled. The hardware layer only needs to do a good job of interconnection efficiently, and the calculation and control logic is completed by software. The digital device model consists of devices, controllers, data pumps, rules, events, and message flows. By defining, assembling, generating and enabling four steps, digital device driven assembly is realized. Finally, statistical analysis, processing and presentation of KPI data collected by digital equipment are carried out. The digital equipment modeling based on software definition realizes the integration of industrial heterogeneous networks, reduces the dependence on hardware, improves the efficiency, and has been applied in engineering and verified, and achieved good results.
