Abstract
Nowadays, cloud-rendering systems have attracted the intense interest in the public and been used in many areas including video games and online education. In this paper, we will focus on the streaming compression (i.e., command-and video-streaming), an important metric playing an indispensable role in the performance of Cloud-rendering Systems, especially for lowering the network bandwidth consumption. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of rendering commands and generated frames, we propose an effective method to compress them and reduce the bandwidth consumption. Finally, we will show the compression ratio we achieved when applying these compression methods.
