Abstract
This paper introduces the excellent characteristics of pearl fiber and its research progress, introduces several common pearl fiber preparation methods, including melt spinning and solution spinning, and analyzes the applicability and limitations of each method. Some functional pearl fiber and fabric products are also introduced. The healthcare mechanism of pearl fiber on the human body was discussed, especially in infrared health care, and the healthy and comfortable function of pearl fiber was discussed. It pointed out the significance of the development of pearl fiber to the research of fiber materials in China, and pearl fiber has broad market prospects and high research value.
