Abstract

Geologic hazards have attracted more attention around the world. This paper tries to comb the relevant literature through Web Of Science, lists the leading indicators and methods of geological hazard susceptibility assessment, discusses the appropriate, suitable means of geological hazards, and gives the future development direction of the existing evaluation in this field based on Remote Sensing images research work is systematically reviewed. The study shows that the most critical highway slope geological hazards - landslides and mudslides - negatively impact human lives. Specifically, remote sensing technology is the primary method of acquiring image data for studying highway slope geological hazards. In addition, the application of emerging technologies and models, the fusion of multi-technology tools, and the integration of multiple models may enhance the accuracy of vulnerability assessment related to geological hazards, which should be emphasized more in future studies.
