Abstract

Lensless ghost imaging by shaping light source is studied theoretically and numerically. The coherence area of the light field, which is related to the resolution of lensless ghost imaging, is calculated. It is presented that the spatial resolution of lensless ghost imaging is in connection with the intensity distribution of the light source, and the inherent relationship between the intensity distribution of the light source and the spatial resolution of lensless ghost imaging is obtained, showing that the spatial resolution of lensless ghost imaging can be controlled by use of shaped light source.
