Abstract
With the increasing complexity of the electromagnetic environment and the severity of electromagnetic radiation problems, in order to accurately obtain the amplitude of spatial electric field strength and effectively reduce the harm caused by electromagnetic radiation, a method of using a square structure to load the antenna arm based on the lumped resistance loaded direct dipole antenna and fractal theory is proposed. The influence of the length of a single circle and different number of circles of the square structure on the frequency response and electric field strength deviation (i.e. flatness deviation) of the electric field probe antenna in the frequency band of 50KHz~1000KHz is studied. A new type of resistance loaded electric field probe sensing dipole antenna based on the square structure is designed and manufactured. The actual test results show that the frequency response of the antenna has been extended by using a square structure loading, effectively reducing the flatness deviation of the electric field probe antenna. The low-frequency operating frequency band of the existing electric field probe with flatness error within ± 3dB has been extended from 1000KHz to 70KHz, and the flatness deviation in the central frequency band from 200KHz to 1000KHz has been optimized from ± 2.53dB to ± 0.45dB. Effectively expanding the detection frequency band of the electric field probe provides a new sensing antenna for measuring electromagnetic radiation in lower frequency bands.
