Abstract
The stability of foundation pits is crucial for the large-scale development and construction of underground spaces and high-density buildings. Analyzing the settlement amount and rate of structures can offer scientific guidance for construction. Through the utilization of small baseline set temporal interferometric radar (SBAS-InSAR) technique, we were able to determine the average settlement rate and vertical cumulative settlement of University Chengbei subway Station in Panyu District, Guangzhou over a 3-year period (April 7, 2019 to April 3, 2022). The findings indicate that the deformation rate in this area is at 6mm per year. Verification results demonstrate that the measured level data support the monitoring outcomes, confirming the feasibility of this technology in foundation pit monitoring.
