Abstract
This paper deals with the problem of using neural networks in the field of texture analysis in color images. Different texture parameters are computed on each color for a given texture. Those parameters are then given as inputs to a neural network which learns to recognize textures from a sample. Recognition performance and weighting matrix are analyzed.
