Abstract
Reggie, an autonomous image registration software package which can process several diverse types of image data, including Landsat thematic mapper (TM), SPOT high resolution visible (HRV), and ADRG digital map imagery is described. This software package is in the final stages of development, and will soon be commercially available. The Reggie algorithm employs sensor geometry models to fully exploit all a priori knowledge of the image collection geometries and the potential image distortions. Sensor models for Landsat TM and SPOT HRV sensors and digital map data are described. Initial results demonstrating registration accuracy and execution time are presented for the registration of Landsat TM and SPOT HRV imagery and ADRG digital map data.
