Abstract

We present the recording and reading of color matched spatial filters in photorefractive LiNbO₃ crystals. Detailed analysis and experimental results on the degrading effects encountered are provided as well as techniques to reduce those effects. Topics discussed include color cross talk, crystal thickness effects, scattering, and wavelength selectivity.
