Abstract
Methyl Alcohol is the most prolific and one of the most efficient moleculesfor the production of optically pumped FIR laser lines. We present a review ofnearly 2000 CO2 pumped FIR laser wavelengths, and frequencies of about fifteenpercent of those, measured in CH3OH and its isotopes.
