Abstract
The propagation of noise in wavefront reconstructors has been investigated for the case of spatially uncorrelated noise. In some situations, the detection noise may be spatially correlated. Here we investigate the noise propagation for the case of spatially correlated noise. We compute the error in wavefront reconstruction as a function of correlation length and noise strength. Results are presented describing noise propagation in a non-iterative complex wavefront reconstructor.
