Abstract
A hybrid interferometric sensor multiplexing strategy using spread spectrum in conjunction with wavelength division multiplexing is reported. An experimental arrangement incorporating six interferometric optical fibre sensors is demonstrated. Preliminary measurements Indicate crosstalk levels below -50dB.
