Abstract

We show that recent fluorescence and fluorescence-excitation spectra of C₆₀ can be combined with earlier theoretical and experimental results to locate the origins of the tow lowest singlet excited states. At the same time, we assign the prominent features of fluorescence and fluorescence- excitation spectra.
