The developments in tools based on information technology are assumed to have a fundamental impact on medicine. In conjunction with other changes in the management of health care, these developments lead to a breakdown of traditional boundaries between primary and new infrastructures in health care therefore evolved. Noninvasive patient monitor technology applied is aimed to encourage its employment for the benefit of more patients of is in need of health care on diagnosis and therapy procedures. Medical blood gases analysis mainly consists of three incidental parameters, that is, the partial pressure of oxygen and carbon dioxide and the negative logarithm of hydrogen ion activity. Since there are several sophisticated blood gas analyzers commercially available, the question arises whether there is still some reason to look for additional methods. Since it is known that optical sensors exist for measuring hydrogen ions and oxygen in blood gas analysis. We have tested laser optical fiber sensor indicators, which are more sensitive than absorption indicators. The values of blood samples determined by this meter and by ABL-30 blood gas analytic meter were well correlated, which shows that the slope/intercept values are very close and the correlation coefficients are greater than 0.97 for all the three parameters.
