Abstract

Refractive indices n_e, n_o were measured and Lorentz tensor L_(parallel), _{(perpendicular}), anisotropy parameter (tau) equals 1/3 - L_{(perpendicular}), local field tensor f_(parallel),_{(perpendicular}) and order parameter S were calculated for the thirteen tolane derivatives with multiple different configurations in both substituents.
