Abstract
First, Basic conceptions of order morphology transformation on gray images are introduced, then two generalized edge operators based on order morphology filtering are defined, Finally the theory and method of the edge operators when percentile p is equal to 1/2 are dealt with for noise suppression and edge extraction. The experiments show that this method possesses good characteristic of suppressing noise and extracting edge comparing common edge extracting method.
