Abstract
An evident model for high-speed wide-bandwidth Raman-amplified WDM system simulation is introduced, and the routines to realize numerically this model are also detailed. Using this model, the major physical effects in Raman-amplified WDM systems are simulated and discussed. Comparison with VPItransmissionMaker software shows good agreements.
