Abstract
To avionics of Fibre Channel (FC) interconnection, based on basic FC interconnection model, communication model of Fabric that is made up of one or more FC switches is given. On task based analysis method of system reliability, reliability expression of Fabric topology is given and concept of Basic Path is proposed. To improving system reliability of avionics, two redundancy methods of Fabric topology: Basic Path Redundancy and Whole Fabric Redundancy is proposed. By An illustration in which different disabled probability of port, switch and link are used to compute the task reliability of Fabric topology, Basic Path Redundancy and Whole Fabric Redundancy, the relation between task reliability and disabled probability of port, switch and link is analyzed. The study on reliability of Fabric topologies of FC has a directive effect on both fault tolerance design and topology selection in the phase of avionics system design.
