Abstract
GPS has the advantages of globality and high precision, however its characteristics of low rate of data refreshing and multipath effect etc. make the GPS fault signal has following three kinds of characteristics: (1) Sometimes there are no GPS output data. (2) GPS data are outputted, but they are not updated. (3) GPS data are outputted, but they have too large errors. In order to improve the reliability of the SINS/GPS integrated navigation system, a fault-tolerant scheme is presented. And four kinds of GPS fault detection algorithms are studied. Fault-tolerant integrated navigation experiment is simulated with the SINS and GPS data collected practically. The simulation results show that the fault-tolerant integrated navigation scheme is effective.
