Abstract
In this paper, an image mosaic method based on SURF feature matching is proposed, which consists of the following steps: First, detecting SURF feature descriptor and finding matching pairs by mutual matching; Then, modified PROSAC (Progressive Sample Consensus) is proposed to remove the mismatch pairs and estimate homography matrix; Finally, adjusting the image to the same coordinate by transformation matrix and blending image by weight averaged linear blending. The experiment results show that the proposed method can detect descriptor rapidly and blend images accurately.
