Abstract
The increased prevalence of Closed Circuit Television systems has resulted in the necessity to view multiple simultaneous camera feeds. However in many cases, a single sensor unit with a wide field of view can ensure that the system operator's situational awareness can be greatly enhanced through the provision of a single continuous panoramic imaging system. This paper reports on advances that Waterfall Solutions Ltd (WS) has made in the field of wide area surveillance systems and introduces a low profile, wide field of view sensor system, and associated processing, which provides solutions to both of these problems.
