Abstract
We are seeing a massive paradigm shift in the world of therapeutics. The market for biopharmaceuticals where the drug itself is made of biological substances like antibodies is rapidly expanding. And now, we are entering into a new era of regenerative medicine, where cells, tissues, and organ systems created in the lab will become the next generation of therapeutics – the next frontier in medicine. In this presentation, we will talk about how 3D printing, material science, and biology are being combined to create implantable, living tissue therapeutics that could replace or repair damaged organ and biological functions inside of the human body
