The depth correction method based on cathode to anode signal ratios requires at least two readout electronics for obtaining both cathode and anode signals. In this study, pulse waveform analysis techniques for anode signals, in which only one readout channel is requisite, were applied to capacitive Frisch grid TlBr detectors. A capacitive Frisch grid TlBr detector exhibited an energy resolution of 1.92% FWHM for 662-keV gamma rays without correction. Waveform classification based on 20% to 80% pulse rise time was performed for the anode signals. The energy resolution was improved to be 1.70% FWHM with rise time correction.
