Profile Summary

Dr Slussarenko is a Senior Lecturer and an ARC Future Fellow (2025-2029) at the Queensland Quantum and Advanced Technology Instite at Griffith University and a Program Manager at ARC Centre of Excellence for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology (CQC²T). He completed his PhD in 2011 at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy) and continued his research in Naples for three more years. He moved to Australia in 2013 where he joined Griffith University and CQC²T.

Sergei’s research is based around the development of novel tools for efficient generation and control of exotic quantum states of light, and the use of these tools in addressing challenging tasks in quantum information science. Sergei's research interests include long-distance communication, entanglement verification protocols, quantum networks, quantum metrology, and other entanglement-based applications of quantum optics.
