Due to most of the existing condition monitoring systems have a rather complicated structure and the high cost
makes even big companies can only afford on a few key equipments, a developing scheme of low-cost micro condition
monitoring system based on LabVIEW and SQL Server is proposed in this paper. The low-cost micro condition
monitoring system can realize the effective monitoring to general machinery by full taking the advantages of LabVIEW
and SQL Server respectively. The system supplements the existing condition monitoring systems to some extent. It
affords good applicability and expanding ability, which make it suitable for the equipment management of enterprises for
general equipment condition monitoring and health maintenance.
