Abstract

A software system to analyze the neuron images seen under light microscope is developed. The system is desiged to process a large number of specimens semi-automatically and to store the processed images with a small memory space. We took the simplest parameters of neuronal morphology, the soma and dendrites. Several methods of automatic soma classification are described.
