Profile Summary

Amir was born in Tabriz, Iran. He attended National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (NODET) for his middle and high school. He did his BSc in Fluid Mechanics attained in 2008 at the Azad University of Tabriz. He has done his MSc at the University of Bradford. Amir has graduated from The University of Nottingham with PhD. He is currently a research fellow at The University of Lincoln.

Amir has a broad interest in the field of material science and polymers. The team at Nottingham investigated the degradation of encapsulant material used in PV modules and the effect of the degradation on the mechanical properties of the material under different environmental conditions over time.

Amir is currently working on the third generation Polyethylene Greenhouse Cladding Materials in a joint project with The University of Reading.
