Profile Summary

Dr. Dawei Liang is an Associate Professor with Habilitation in Physics Department of NOVA University of Lisbon. His researches on solar-pumped lasers were highlighted by Spotlights on Optics in 2012, Laser Physics in 2013, Laser Focus World in 2013, 2016 and 2022, Journal of Photonics for Energy during 2019-2022. News from SPIE in 2022. He was in “World’s Top 2% Scientists list” by Stanford University in 2021, 2023, and 2024. He published a first-author book on “Solar-Pumped Lasers” by Springer Nature in 2023. He serves as Associate Editor for Journal of Photonics and Energy from 2022, and Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications.
