Jeff Güell is the Program Manager for Enhanced & Synthetic Vision Systems (ESVS), Breakthrough Initiatives (BTI) and the Technology Planning Program Manager at Boeing, supporting current and future military aircraft platforms, including C-17A, Advanced C-17, B-1B, JFTL/AJACS, BWB and future mobility platforms (including ground vehicles). Work involving state-of-the-art imaging sensors, HUDs & HMD technologies, synthetic navigation database image processing, Highway-in-the-Sky (HITs) technologies, image fusion & systems integration to address all weather, low level & low visibility/obscured precision navigation operations.

Jeff is in the Advanced Global Mobility (AGMS) organization -part of Boeing Phantom Works, and has over 25 years of aerospace/avionics experience ranging in both the military & commercial arenas.

Jeff is a member of: IEEE’s International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE), Society for Information Display (SID), and Chair’s the annual SPIE Defense & Security’s ESVS Track Symposium. He has published a number of professional papers and specifications associated with high-resolution video/graphics and avionics/electrical systems. He holds several patents for advanced imaging & vision systems technologies.

Jeff has a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from Costa Rica University and UCLA respectively.
