Novel research applications to holographic image projection using random lasers endow superior functionalities over reduced coherent artifacts and high-quality speckle free full-field image projections. Using conventional coherent light sources; leads to speckle or corrupt image formation and lacks in full-field holographic image projection. We quantitatively demonstrate solvent engineered low-cost efficient fabrication process to synthesize high quality and durable perovskite – polystyrene (wt. %) based random lasers with robust optical performances to obtain high-resolution speckle free computer-generated holographic (CGH) image projections. Further optical characterizations of perovskite – polystyrene (wt. %) based random lasers illustrate the addition of polystyrene results in wavy surface texture with dominant multiple scattering effects; that leads to a low threshold lasing operation. Besides this, we have also analyzed photon lifetime tests for different random lasers, excitation area dependent disorder strength induced threshold behavior, far-field analysis. Such random lasers are deemed to be greater potential applications to spectroscopy, optical coherence tomography, colored image formation, and image processing, etc.
