Dr. Paul is a researcher at Harvard University, United States. He obtained his PhD in Physics (Optics) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. He has more than 14 years of research experience in Biomedical Optics, especially in advanced label-free optical techniques for biomedical and medical applications. Paul has contributed more than 100 publications including peer-reviewed journal papers and conference presentation in his research area, and also authored an optics book (published by SPIE, USA). Presented more than forty papers in twenty international conferences and received several best paper awards. His research contributions are published in Nature communications, Nano letters, Science advances, ACS Nano, Nano Research, Journal of Biomedical Optics, Biomedical Engineering Letters, Advanced materials, Biomaterials, Optics Express, Optics and lasers in engineering, Scientific reports, Optical Engineering, Bioengineering and translational medicine, Biomedical optics express, Optics letters, Nanomedicine and Nanobiotechnology and more. He has been serving several professional optical societies namely OSA, SPIE, and elected as a Senior member of SPIE. His publications total citations reached more than ~4600, h-index ~30, and i10-index ~50.
